*This campus was constructed with the support of the "Kyoto Lumber Project" (non-residential and lumber product introduction support type), which is sponsored by the Kyoto prefectural government.
The use of wood from within Kyoto prefecture promotes the prevention of global warming by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide emitted during the transportation of wood (wood mileage CO₂) and by encouraging forest maintenance. By fostering an environment within which children can interact with and develop a fondness for wood, we are developing their understanding of stewardship of forest resources and prevention of global warming.
