A Global Curriculum
KIUA is mindful of the Japanese school curriculum, but chooses to incorporate a more Western approach to education - one of self-directed study. Classes are conducted in both English and Japanese. We offer 12 years of bilingual education.
The majority of our incoming Elementary School students enroll as 1st graders.
High achievers are promoted if they are deemed mature enough to cope with advanced placement.
Elementary
School
Grades 1-5
Self-directed students consider learning to be fun!
Middle School
Grades 6-8
School is not just about completing assignments. Students must take responsibility and show initiative in solving issues they encounter.
High School
Grades 9-12
Students learn practical ways to attain their goals.
Students polish their presentation and communication skills.
